Children & Youth
Spirit of Peace values children and youth and strives to help each one know they belong to God and are beloved as a child of God!
During the school year, Sunday School groups meet weekly following our 10:00 worship service and learn about following Jesus using the new SPARK resources. Christian education and faith formation take place in a fun, flexible, and personal setting. In addition, Pastor Gary provides First Communion instruction for children and Confirmation classes for youth.
" A Word for God's Children" is shared during worship most Sundays. These precious moments help nurture their child-like faith in the Lord. Youth learn to love and serve the Lord as they provide worship leadership in several ways.
Our Children's Ministry also features a monthly, family friendly activity. Youth Fellowship meets several times each month [primarily on Sunday evenings] and brings together middle and high school youth.
